I was looking at the clock yesterday; can you guess what time was it? =P
And also this is by far the coolest thing that has ever happen! I got a card but its not just some ordinary card =P This card is the card to AFC’s entrance, just one swipe and I can go in! I don’t have to ring the door bell and wait. Just one swipe and I’m in! Gosh man I was so fascinated and ‘sakai’ about it I swiped and went in and repeatedly did the same thing for about 3 times? I went in then went back out.. gosh I looked like a retard and Elisha and Peh Han had a good laugh =P

So another thing that some people may ask ‘Aaron, how about finances?’ and again it's simple, it’s not about how much you have but it’s how well you use it; and like I said before, when you give your life up to Him, He’s going to take care of everything for you; because you have COMPLETELY surrender your life to Him and your life is in HIS hands.
Let’s give you an example, here in Brunei our Sultan is awesome thank God for him, his servants have the ability to earn a lot of money! And what they do are very very very easy and simple things.
One job in particular is to simply start and ‘warm up’ all of the cars in the morning ==’’ hard to believe?
Another one would be the ‘Elevator Boy’. It’s simply to press the desired floor the Sultan wishes to go and if he’s lucky, they might just get tips and everybody know that tips from the Sultan isn’t just $5 or $10, its of hundreds. Amazing isn’t it.
I don’t want to mention the amount they earn because I am afraid that I would influence you to stop whatever you’re doing and start serving the Sultan =='' Oh my if that were to happen I would seriously be in deep trouble haha =P
But you see if these normal ordinary people can earn so much and live life so freely by serving the Sultan, what more for us (Gods people) serving Our Heavenly Father in Heaven?
What I earn may not be as much as other people who have a Degree but I have my Heavenly Father looking after me. Whatever I sacrifice for Him, I will get much more in return because I put Him first in my life =) ‘Seek first the Kingdom of God and everything else shall be provided’ whatever that has been written in the Bible is truth and it’s a fact. So start believing in it.
It is so real to me because everything has been provided. Everything was truly provided for me when I made the decision to come into full time ministry, my permit to stay in Brunei legally was taken care of(normally my parents and I would stress about this but by Gods favor; He provided), my financial needs and my physical needs are all taken care of because I choose to be obedient =) I may not see the bigger picture right now, but believing when you can’t see is Faith and Faith is the only thing that pleases God =) its hard but what do you have to lose?
Now some may ask what if I’m not going into full time ministry. Will God still provide for me? OF COS! Not everyone has the same calling, some may be call into full time ministry after they have settle down with their family and finances, or after achieving their degree or even some may be called into part time ministry. Whatever it is Love what you do =) be obedient to what God has asked you to do and love doing it =) Many people may have the heart to do many things but in the end of the day, He will ask you ‘Have you done what I asked you to do?’ Do what He tells you =) jangan pandai pandai lol!=P
Let’s give you another example, Mr A who has no God earns $10000 per month whereas Mr B who has a God may earn $1000. What’s the difference?
Mr A whose earnings are $10000 depends on his finances alone. Every human being who gets a little of something, sub-consciously would want more and more of it just to satisfy the same ‘hunger’, not ‘greater hunger’, but equal hunger. You need more and more ‘resources’ to satisfy the ‘same hunger’. Scary isn’t if you can’t satisfy yourself, think of the desperation you would get yourself into. Going to be hard to come out of it wouldn’t it?
Have you ever felt something was just not enough and you wanted more? In a relationship for example, at first seeing each other was great enough, saying ‘hi’ to one another was amazing! When he/she looks at you, your heart beats a million time faster, simply talking to you or talking to that person was enough to put a smile on your face that would last throughout the day. But as time goes by you desire more, for example you may need to hug before you say good bye if not you won’t be as happy as you were, Whereas before, even a wave or a look or a ‘good bye’ would make you the happiest person on the planet, we are given one inch but we want one foot. Everything in the world, no matter how great it is will come to an end, because Sin is there to destroy our lives.
So you can pretty much imagine how things are going to be for Mr A when his finances goes down the drain, he will have nothing. Let’s just say if his money were to run out? What would happen? But the good news is if we come into God’s home, He has us protected from all these things =)
Mr B that has God may not have a lot to spend for himself but because he has God in his life, he is under God’s spiritual covering and spiritual protection, and when you are a child of God you will be deeply favored, for example, Mr A and Mr B wants to get a car, although Mr A may be 10 times richer than Mr B, if Mr A wants to get a car he has to pay for it over a period of time right? However, with Gods favor, someone might just bless Mr B with a car; it is as AMAZING as that. No payment no nothing. Mr A has to pay for it, whereas Mr B doesn’t =) and yes don’t doubt God because He is full of abundance. He is the Creator and the Provider and the Sustainer of all things! A car is ‘puny’ to Him. If he could he would flood your whole entire neighborhood with cars if He wanted to hahaha
Remember whatever we have, it's not ours, everything belongs to God. Our talents, our gifts, our finances, everything! We’re not owners of it; we’re just caretakers of it. The only reason why we are given a chance to live is because Christ has first made the decision to die for us. Without Him and without that decision He has made for us, we wouldn’t even be here right now, everything that we have belongs to Him.
Even if you may have nothing, remember as children of God, you already have everything you need that is Jesus Christ.
Not that I am implying that I was in any personal want, for I have learned how to be content in whatever state I am. I know how to be abased and live humbly in straitened circumstances, and I know also how to enjoy plenty and live in abundance. I have learned in any and all circumstances the secret of facing every situation whether well-fed or going hungry, having a sufficient and to spare or going without and being in want. I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me.
Philippians 4:11-13
